Introduction

Swachhata Hi Seva (SHS) is a nationwide cleanliness campaign observed from 17th September to 2nd October every year under the Swachh Bharat Mission. Organised by Campus 2 Community, the drive mobilises citizens for shramdaan, plastic waste management, and awareness activities to pay tribute to Mahatma Gandhi’s vision of a clean India

Rules and Regulations

Participation

 

  • All participants must register before joining the campaign activities.

  • Volunteers should attend the orientation/briefing session conducted by organisers.

Discipline & Conduct

 

  • Maintain discipline and respect throughout the campaign.

  • Follow instructions given by coordinators and team leaders.

  • Avoid any behavior that disrupts or disrespects the community.

Safety & Cleanliness

 

  • Wear gloves, masks, and other protective gear during cleanliness drives.

  • Handle waste responsibly, segregating biodegradable and non-biodegradable items.

  • Do not engage in unsafe practices while collecting or disposing of waste.

Time Management

 

  • Be punctual and participate in all scheduled activities.

  • Inform the organisers in advance in case of absence.

Eco-Friendly Practices

 

  • Avoid using single-use plastics during the campaign.

  • Encourage sustainable methods such as recycling and reusing.

Documentation & Reporting

 

  • Record activities through photos/videos only with permission from organisers.

  • Submit reports or feedback if assigned by the coordinators.

Community Respect

 

  • Be polite and cooperative with local residents and authorities.

  • Ensure public spaces are left cleaner than before without causing damage.
