The Gandhian approach to education is a holistic one, where all aspects of the individual one – social, cultural, intellectual, physical and spiritual – are cultivated in a curriculum that prepares youth for their life in the real world. His views of villages and gram swaraj has always been inspiring and still relevant. Campus 2 Community, inspired by Gandhian views on Rural villages and education are profoundly involved in the development of government schools in remote rural areas. Campus 2 Community in coordination with Art Matters and Students for development takes immense pleasure to organise ‘School Bell’, a mass service activity across the remote rural villages all over Karnataka and indulge in rejuvenating 150 government schools marking the 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi through various activities.
